Road Cycling Clinics

Introduction to Road Cycling & Racing

Road cycling is all about riding in a group, so riders must be aware of their surroundings, capable bike handlers and understand basic traffic laws. We recommend that riders learn many of the needed skills on a mountain bike until they are 12 years old.

To get started with road, we will offer several Intro Road Clinics and cross-over days for kids to come from another Academy program to try road cycling with their bike or on one of our loaners.

For the Development XC MTB Team, you may choose one day a week for road cross over as part of your regular program. Talk to Bill to find out which days and rides to attend.
