Grit Clinics

Grit Clinics, a women specific series of mountain biking clinics, presented by Pine Mountain Sports will launch this spring in Bend.

Grit Clinics is designed to provide supportive coaching to beginner and intermediate female mountain bikers. Clinics are designed to increase confidence on the trail by teaching participants to improve and refine their bike handling skills.

Grit Clinics is offering four, 2 day clinics in Bend, Oregon throughout the summer. Morning sessions will focus on bike handling skills and basic bike maintenance. Newly learned skills will be put into action on the trails during the afternoon sessions.

Grit Clinics was founded by Tania Piper & Meredith Brandt. Passionate Mountain bikers themselves, Tania and Meredith love to teach and inspire other women riders. They are excited to share what they have learned from over 14 years combined experience on the trails in Bend and surrounding areas, Grit Clinics fills the need for a local and affordable all-women’s mountain biking clinic. “This is a great opportunity for women to discover mountain biking in a relaxed and fun environment. For more advanced riders, it’s a great way to hone skills and learn how to show off a little on the trail” says Meredith Brandt co-owner of Grit Clinics.
