Fall Cyclocross Camp

Join the Bend Endurance Academy for this Cyclocross Development Camp designed for Junior & High School Cyclocross Racers. Designed to be challenging and informative for each individual from beginner to advanced, this camp gives athletes an opportunity to spend time together outside off the race course.

Academy Cycling Director, Bill Warburton says, “This camp is for riders who want to connect, share, train hard and have fun. We’re trying to elevate the level of riding and coaching in OBRA so that we can lead the country not only in cyclocross events, but in rider development, too. Getting organized on a regional level is going to be key to that success.”

He stresses that this camp really is for all abilities, saying, “This camp is for the rider’s benefit over the long-term. No matter where they are when they come in, they’ll go home tired, satisfied and amped up to keep improving. Beginners will leave feeling much more confident and advanced riders will learn from experts how to keep pushing their training and racing forward. Some will race casually, others might do the High School Series, others might try to go on to USGP’s or Nationals, whatever they do, they’ll have a good time at the camp.”

For 2012, we’re combining our Cyclocross Camp with the Hood River Double Cross Races for a weekend of skills, training and racing in the Gorge!

There are 2 ways of joining us for this awesome weekend of Cross Skills, Racing and Activities: Full CX Camp or daily CX Clinics.
  • Full CX Camp means you’re all in, for transportation to and from Bend, we’ll eat meals together, you’ll get coaching, clinics, lodging, race support, etc. Cost is $125 for all three days!
  • Daily CX Clinics means you’d like to take part in the “Cyclocross Skills” portions of the weekend but the costs of traveling, staying and eating are on your own to give you maximum flexibility with your schedule. You’re welcome to stay with us at the KOA and eat with us for dinner, but the prices aren’t included. Cost is $40 per day; Choose Sat., Sun. or both! Clinics start at 8:30AM each day.
